Tollund Man’s brain is well preserved

Even though Tollund Man’s brain has shrunken during the 2300 years he stayed in the bog, it is remarkably well preserved. In 2010, a so-called endoscopic examination was conducted of his brain. It revealed an intact cerebral cortex, although flattened.
